Decaydance vs. Decadence

Hey I was wondering if anyone ever thought that Decaydance could be a play on the word decadence?

Because there is a Ernest Hemmingway quote that says "
Decadence is a difficult word to use since it has become little more than a term of abuse applied by critics to anything they do not yet understand or which seems to differ from their moral concepts."

Decadence means:
1.the act or process of falling into an inferior condition or state; deterioration; decay: Some historians hold that the fall of Rome can be attributed to internal decadence.
2.moral degeneration or decay; turpitude.
3.unrestrained or excessive self-indulgence.
4.(often initial capital letter) the decadent movement in literature.

So what do you guys think? I think it might be but i don't know.
